Our children attended a "Dress in Your Favorite Decade Party" and here is their outfits.
They are rocking the '80s.
Fashion tip: If you are old enough to remember a trend, you are TOO old to wear it when it comes around again!!!

"Serve one another as good stewards of the manifold grace of God."
I Peter 4:10
The word "manifold" is variegated in the original language. It is the same idea of Joseph and his coat of many, variegated, manifold colors. Many colors of grace.
James writes of the "various trial" we endure in this life (James 1:2). The word translated "various" trials in James is the same word translated "manifold" grace of God. God has a specific color of grace to correspond to every color of trial and suffering we will ever experience. Manifold trials. Manifold grace.
Majestic - Mighty - Marvelous God!

When I said, "Say cheese," this is how Grayson reacted. His mom said he thought I said "cheeks" and in "Where is your nose? Where is your mouth? Where are your cheeks?"
Is that adorable or what!?!?!?

The reason I take pictures - lots and lots of pictures - is that I love to preserve moments in time. With the click of the shutter I can capture a look. An expression. A precious memory frozen in time. And this one is imprinted in my heart forever.

Sweet Little Baby Tip-toes
Our little baby grand, Grayson, is one busy little boy. Since he began walking-at all of 10 months old-he has discovered that if he gets up on his toes, he increases his reach by about 1 inch.

Our Lion Cub
In order to bride (I know-not a good parenting or grandparenting technique!) the lion cub to keep his hat on I offered him a Puff treat so he would keep his hat on long enough to snap a picture. Does not make for good parenting, but it does make for good pictures.

He makes my heart roar with joy!

Say CHEESE!
Declan stopped by for a visit. He and his Poppa had a cheese snack. As always, I had my camera in my hand.
I said, "Say cheese."
And he did!

My buddy Renae (Ray-Ray) works with me in our ministry, Standing Near the Cross. When the Baby Grands stop by, all things - work-related and otherwise come to a halt! Because babies don't keep. However, occasionally one of them wants to pitch in and give us a hand. Here Declan is helping Ray solve some serious ministry issues.
And this is Baby Gray a few weeks ago-before the fall weather hit.

Puff Daddy
Baby Grayson stopped by for a visit. He is a fan of Puffs. I let him have a few while I was getting his breakfast ready. After breakfast he wanted some more. The container was nearly empty so I handed him the whole container. And this was the result.

A boy and his dog.
Our baby grands love Gerber Puffs. These little cereal dissolve-in-your-mouth bits can entertain and distract our little guys for endless hours. Unfortunately a quick flip of the lid can spell disaster in the hands of a little one. The boxers spotted the impending disaster and positioned themselves in the midst of the fray.

Some More Pillow Talk
Grayson, our youngest Baby Grand, stopped by the other day and played in the sunroom on the pillows.
He had big fun playing in the pillows!
After he left, this is what I found! Sadie, our boxer, is a bit jealous of all the attention the grandbabies get when they are here. I suppose she was reminding us of who is in charge! Blessings.
