The fun mommas over at MomDot.com host a Small Talk Six every Saturday since the blogosphere tends to slow down over the weekends. Since this is such a beautiful Saturday here in Memphis, I can only assume I am the only person who is sitting inside, but me and my allergy-ridden self consider it wisdom to stay inside while all the bloomy stuff fills the outside.
Today's topic of discussion is: 6 places you would like to travel to if childcare, cash, and circumstances were not an issue.
1. Anywhere-I love to travel.
2. Hawaii-I have never been but I intend to go there one day and see this place for myself.
3. Alaska-I got to go to Alaska with the fam about 10 years ago and honestly, it was spectacular. I would love to go back and stay longer this time.
4. Africa-I got to go to Tanzania in August for a mission trip and we extended our stay to do a safari, which has been a dream of my since I was a child. I still cannot believe I got to do it. Stunning, is all I can say. Seeing God's extraordinary display of creative genius provoked me to worship and frankly, I still am not over it.
5. Israel-As a Christian I desire to go and visit the historical places where Jesus was born, ministered, died and rose again.
6. HEAVEN-Having met the Lord Jesus Christ on His terms of faith and repentance, I have a guaranteed ticket to heaven. I am a stranger in this land, a pilgrim just passing through on my way to spend eternity with the Lord Jesus Christ and the company of the redeemed. I, for one, am looking forward to going. "For me to live is Christ, and to die is gain" (Phil.1:24).
