In the never-ending quest to live out my Christian faith in the midst of the chaos and the craziness that is my life, I listen to alot of Christian music. I have found that I am far more able to keep my mind focused on Christ if I keep Christian music playing in the background of my life.
Colossians 3:1-2 says, "Therefore if you have been raised up with Christ, keep seeking the things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your mind on the things above, not on the things that are on earth." The steady influx of Christ-centered music helps to continually lift my thoughts to the things above and not the things of this earth.The things of this world will grow strangely dim in the light of HIs glory and grace.
